iPerf

iPerf 
iPerf is a tool used in network performance measurement. iPerf has client and server functionality, and can create data streams to measure throughput between two stations.
 
Server Mode
| Name | Description | 
| Server Port | The server port for server to listen on and client to connect to. The server port should be same in both client and server. Default is 5201. | 
| Report Interval | How often the reporting is triggered by setup report interval option. Default time unit for work is 1 second but you can change it to be minutes or hours. |

Client Mode
| Name | Description | 
| Server Address | Type server IP address that connects to an iPerf server running on host. | 
| Server Port | The server port for server to listen on and client to connect to. The server port should be same in both client and server. Default is 5201. | 
| Protocol | Choose protocol type TCP or UDP. If choose UDP protocol, it would need to more setting for bandwidth and packet size. | 
| Interface | Support use iPerf by different WAN interfaces. | 
| UDP Bandwidth | Setup target bandwidth, default 128 KB/sec for UDP, unlimited for TCP. | 
| UDP Packet Size | Setup target UDP packet size, default 1470 bytes. | 
| Transmit Mode | Support Upload or Download. | 
| Test Duration | Execute iPerf in time duration. Default is 10 seconds. | 
| Streams | Execute iPerf with multiple streams for network performance measurement. | 
| Report Interval | How often the reporting is triggered by setup report interval option. Default time unit for work is 1 second but you can change it to be minutes or hours. |
