O’PRUEBA Launched iGWS 1.0 Release for 5G CPE/FWA Products in Q1 2023

O’PRUEBA today announced the launch of version 1.0 release of iGWS, an all-in-one Network Operating System (NOS) for 5G CPE/FWA. It can support 4G/5G/wireless/wired and PoE network connections, providing not only flexible forwarding services but also enabling Far-Edge Computing architecture.
iGWS has attached to the 5G Public Network (n78) of leading telecom operators in Taiwan and has achieved excellent connectivity performance and 5G transmission throughput of almost 1 Gbps. In the past year, iGWS also collaborated with the major players of 5G Private Network to meet the demands of application fields such as 5G AIoT factories, smart cities, and Industrial IoT. Furthermore, iGWS provides excellent throughput and service quality in various leading brands of 5G systems, as well as sub 6GHz and mmWave.
Most importantly, iGWS combines the scalability of Far Edge Computing, allowing it to leverage the computing power of high-end 5G CPE products and supporting both x86 and ARM architectures. This enables the use of multipurpose in one machine, remote control, easy operation, and maintenance. Users can achieve a solution that combines both applications-driven customization and cost-effectiveness through the iGWS platform.

This version provides high scalability and reliability. Notable features and improvements of iGWS 1.0 include single-point network slicing, never stop connection with Hybrid WAN, schedule of diagnose, and network topology visualization, iGWS also support 150+ API to connect Controlador or 3rd party control systems.
